We took a day and toured all 6 bridges of Madison County while base camped in Winterset Iowa. The bridges are scattered around in various places and most of them require gravel roads. Google Maps is your friend for finding them all. 2 of the bridges are in city parks. Apparently these bridge have a habit of catching fire so many of them have fire suppression systems of some sort and/or video cameras in them. We also took the time to go visit the house from the movie. I snapped a few photos of the house but we were not allowed inside. I’ll try and dig these photos up also and post them somewhere. There isn’t much to see of the house and apparently the rear of it also caught fire.
