This was my first trip up to Ledges State Park. Up until now, I’ve never been able to make the trip when a reservation was available. The park is a very nice and shaded park but for some odd reason, I had a hell of a time getting my trailer right where I wanted it. I also had this huge cement “thing” at the rear of my site that kept me from backing in too far.
I took one E-Bike with me and took a very nice morning ride down to the river. This was an amazing ride down (and then one heck of a climb back out). I took the time to set up my 360 camera and film the entire thing. I really enjoyed that ride. Unfortunately, I got sick with a bad cough after the first day and spent the entire trip in bed resting. I essentially, burned vacation time from work instead of sick time.
When I returned home, I would find out that I had the camera set on time-lapse mode so I never really got any video at all. You know what that means. I will have to return again next year and try again.
Dads brand new camper decided that it would develop leveler problems so we had to fight that as well. One of the jacks just quit working so the others decided to compensate. The photos don’t do it justice but it felt like it was going to tip over.
On Saturday night we took a trip over to the Boone Country RR for a nice trip. I took some photos there too. I will attach photos below.
